growing potatoes in a box; as they grow build the sides of the box up and fill with well broken down compost. You will get more than a feed.
note the "cardboard" egg cartons this is a good cheap way to grow your seedlings, too transplanted them all you need to do is just rip-off a section of the egg carton and plant it out, without disturbing the seedlings
some old chicken wire protecting young bush beans from lizards and birds, leave the wire there which will also help to support the beans as they grow.

Potatoes We just love new spuds, boiled with lots of butter on them, with a dash of salt and pepper.
The potatoes I have sown here are our left-over potatoes from last years crop, they were dying to get into the ground and when they did, they just took off.
don't forget to keep covering them up with compost, straw, even dry grass, to stop them going green.
for more info see "how to grow potatoes"
An old plastic container makes a good strawberry pot, drill 12 off 32mm holes around the container, say a 100mm down from the top, this way you can have plants hanging out from the sides of the container as well planting them on top of the container.
Growing strawberries in a container is a lot tidier and cleaner than planting them out into the garden, also takes up less room.
